After submersions in meditative self-study which require only awareness of the subtle body and the vehicle of the breath,
we surface back to our biological requirement to receive support and repair from the green intelligence that flowers around us. Plant life is naturally coded to optimize our vital functions as living beings, supporting us in our awakening to what it means to be human.
As deep and as far as yoga practice takes us on the path to enlightenment, we must return to the plants again and again for sustenance. Plants remind us of our humility and teach us the significance of interconnection. Plants are a specific class of gatekeepers with the wisdom to lead us into deeper states of embodied self-awareness.
In amorous intimacy with our botanical support system, we can recognize their innate intelligence as spun from the same fiber as our own,
prompting the question: are we reaching outward for nourishment or still just reaching within?
Through tantra practice, we awaken at these intersections. Where an adjacent thread once seemed separate from our being, we fall back into the timeless realization that all is part of the same textile, and our omnidirectional presence continues to weave fresh patterns of expansion…
There is no true out and no true in, only a weaver who never stops weaving.
